Banner for Adam

This banner was created by a community in the Stoops area of Burnley.

Adam died in police custody aged 13. Locked up with a violent offender, yet with no criminal history or proven crime, he was beaten to death.
The local community angered by this, were able to come together to protest at teenagers rights in custody.

Members of the community took this banner to a rally in front of the Houses of Parliament.

This project was managed by ‘Sketch’ at Burnley Council
