Sketch Book
Time was when a simple pen line would suffice, then I was given a book which changed my life!
Frieda Kahlos’ diary… colour, word, ink, scrawl, full emotional out pourings. The original Emo.
My favorite materials now are water based oil pastels. I carry them with a paintbrush, a small container of water, and a pencil sharpener in a hand-bag sized tin.
Sometimes a moody pen creates a dark defined line that can create it’s own intensity.
