*HOTCAKES PRESENTS
Hebden Bridges’ own punk ethic boutique, d.i.y. design, aproprietor of cool – and they’re showing my paintings! The works on display until mid September, are the first installment of a series entitled Gardening – a lush, fertile, organic, orgasmic theme.

*SALON SHOW @ THE PIECE HALL, HALIFAX
I am achingly proud to be part of the Temporary Art Gallery calendar. This, their last show, has again proved that cutting edge, refreshing, dynamic art shows can rock in Halifax (not renowned for ‘cool’). The Salon show is an enormous group show! See artist listings here.
On attending the previews I’ve met some real starlets passionate about art. Closing party, Saturday 29th August 4pm+

*NO APPEARANCE NON EXISTING
A group show of exciting international artists on the theme of missing.
Having exhibited in Hebden Bridge, the exhibition will be visiting Manchester, Bangkok and Berlin.

*MAYFAIR – NOT AS RUDE AS IT SOUNDS
Mayfair was the first Open Day at Wainsgate Chapel where my studio is housed, set in beautiful moorland surroundings, several artists, musicians, dancers use this enigmatic old Chapel and Sunday School building as a creative sanctuary.
200 people came along, saw my most recent and impassioned artworks, took part in some hula, and listened to music from around the world.

*THE VISION WORKERS
The Vision Workers first exhibition of divine and sensual creations was themed around ’Spirit’.
We welcomed approximately 250 visitors over the 2 weeks at the Arts Festival Shop in Hebden Bridge during February.

The Vision Workers features the collective talents of a tattooist, puppeteer, jewellery designer/maker, photographer, digital artist, ceramicist and fine artists.

As hoped, all the artists interpreted Spirit very differently. Works highlighted Catholicism, Death, Magic, Karma, Nature, Booze and Birth.

*ARTIST RETURNS SAFELY FROM THE BIG CITY
Recent collages and prints went down well for a month at the Chaat Gallery. Based in Shoreditch, London – Chaat is affiliated to the very famous White Cube Gallery. Saatchi may have seen my art – still waiting for that call!

*ECLECTIC – GROUP SHOW AT SALFORD UNIVERSITY
Earth Orb ceramics displayed in a slowly decaying environment….. sheep wool, red and white onions, hawthorn berries – an earthy ground for orbs to grow.
