“What are you up to these days?” Well…. I have an amazing part-time job. In-House Designer & Media Worker for Mobile International Surgical Teams… MiST website here.
The team are an inspiring bunch, those with a zeal to make a difference on this motley planet of ours. My boss is an incredible human, a full-time surgeon, with a rebellious sense of humor who somehow has time and energy to orchestrate MiST.
Currently, we are seeking donations to raise £100,000 to equip a medical mission in Haiti. Donate Here.

GARDENING
Paintings from this lush and fertile series of paintings are available to view at Dynamite shop on Market Street, Hebden Bridge.

Creating from wonder brings to synthesis all the experiences. Creating from wonder closes the circle. It brings us back to the wonder of perception and to the space in which that-which-is can speak. But we arrive there richer in every way – richer in insight, in technique, and in our ability to play with the unfamiliar.
The empty canvas is our lover, at last.
Miriam Louisa Simons, Walking The Way Of Wonder
“I do not seek, I find.” Picasso
A fusion into a never-before-known wholeness; not only were the object and oneself no longer felt to be separate, but neither were thought and sensation and feeling and action.
Marion Milner, On Not Being Able To Paint

BADGES! THE LATEST HANDS ON SENSATION
We’ve taken tools for making badges, key rings and mirrors to work with some of the hardest to reach workshop participants. The magic and simplicity of badge making has sparked activity from souls self labelled as stubbornly non-creative, who may begin by lingering near our table, watching nibble fingers creating with ease and speed, then relinquish all creative labels and ‘have a go’.
Badges and key rings are now available for sale!
Hands On are so in love with the magic of badges x
